We have been taking short-term mission teams to Haiti since 2012, developing partnerships with various other ministries in the country. We minister primarily to orphans, demonstrating the heart of our Father God both in words and in action. We teach, play, build walls, paint, sweat, pray and LOVE!
On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake stuck Haiti. More than 230,000 people were killed, 300,000 injured and 1.5 million were homeless. During Spring Break 2012 and 2013, teams of Junior High School, High School, College Students and adults journeyed to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to work with Life Is Hope Orphanage to help repair damage done to the facility from the 2010 earthquake, complete much needed new construction projects, such as plumbing, electrical systems, painting and building bunk beds, assist in children’s ministry and serve people who had seen their lives, families, friends and country devastated.
